| not dead not alive |
| so mcass came by for a week..went heaps of places...adventuring melbourne and victoria..we went to Great Ocean Road drove by the sea which was quite cool and also the misty mountain roads..was too dark when we reach to the twelve apostles because of me wanting to stop at the historical lighthouse place and driving by some cows..after the twelve apostles we went to port campbell..thought of pumping the petrol but being tightasses we didnt want to pump there because it was too expensive.. 1.50 per litre which the normal rate was 1.20 that nite..so it was 30 cents extra..and we took the risk of getting stuck in the forest without petrol..anyway when driving up the curb hitting the roads..drove by a house and it was on fire..so went and report to the locals..firemen came and tried to save the house but it was too late..so when driving on the misty roads it was so dangerous..the visibility was so bad if a cow or kangaroo would appear in the middle of the road i wont be able to see it anyway thank god there wasnt any..so we reached the 1st small town and we were praying for the petrol station to be opened..nope..luck was not on our side so we drove on and hoped the next town would have it open..and no...it was not open as well..and the fuel indicator was blinking demanding for more fuel...by the way i was driving a toyota yaris..pretty awesome fuel economy car..anyway...anyway we continue our journey in the dark where there were no streetlights and the only light at the back of me was my tail light and because of the mist it was so red..finally we reach this town called Colac which was quite small town but there were safeway there and we pumped the car with fuel..so from there we had pizza for dinner had some nice hot drink and continue on driving to Geelong then back to Melbourne..Day 1 = 700 kilometer roughly...drove bout 14 hrs.. |
